Insight #1

"Lobbying from ITIC has pushed back on the recent OMB 22-18 directive to require self-attestations and SBOMs from software vendors selling to the US Government. It’s time we all start being more transparent about our secure software development processes and stop delaying the inevitable."

Insight #2

"Multiple state governments have banned TikTok on state-owned devices over the past few weeks due to concerns over how data has been managed. If you do still use TikTok, I think these actions should at least make us think long and hard about the types of data and videos we share on TikTok."

Insight #3

"Are you using service accounts for those “simple” integrations between your security alerts and other tools such as slack, or CI/CD pipelines? A great way to solidify your security operations environment is to make sure you are using service accounts/APIs wherever you can."
