Insight #1

"Log4j was classified as an “endemic” by the Cyber Safety Review Board this week. It’s really great to see this, as our own data shows that half of the Java applications using Log4j still have not upgraded to the latest version. Time to re-evaluate your patching strategies."

Insight #2

"The Biden administration announced plans to fund a new initiative for cyber security apprenticeships to help fix the talent shortage problem. I love this approach, a large entity with the resources to fund such an initiative. This will immediately impact the government but will have a trickle effect on the private sector. I love it!"

Insight #3

"If you have teams of people dedicated to triaging detected vulnerabilities from source code scans, there are better approaches out there like IAST. Internally we have zero dedicated resources for triaging detected vulnerabilities by using IAST. This gives me the ability to do more things with our team and keep them away from the monotony of looking at thousands of false positives all day long."
